John 4:47

οὗτος ἀκούσας ὅτι Ἰησοῦς ἥκει ἐκ τῆς Ἰουδαίας εἰς τὴν Γαλιλαίαν, ἀπῆλθεν πρὸς αὐτόν, καὶ ἠρώτα ἵνα καταβῇ καὶ ἰάσηται αὐτοῦ τὸν υἱόν· ἤμελλεν γὰρ ἀποθνῄσκειν.

Rough Word-by-word:
This man when he heard that Jesus had come from the Judea into the Galilee, he went out toward him, and he was beseeching that he might go down and he might heal of him the son, for he was near to die.

Smooth Translation:
When this man heard that Jesus had come from Judea into Galilee, he went out to him, and was beseeching that he might go down and heal his son, for he was near death.
