John 3:2

Rough Word-by-word:
this man came to him of night and he said to him, "Rabbi, we know that from God you have come a teacher, no one for he is able these the signs to do which you you are doing, if not may be the God with him."

Smooth Translation:
This man came to him of night and said to him, "Rabbi, we know that you have come from God a teacher, for no one is able to do these signs which you, yourself, are doing, if not God may be with him."

Notes:
Nicodemus came (of night)/Jesus has come (from God) - No one is able to do/Jesus is doing - The subjunctive seems, to me, to point to Nicodemus' beginning to consider the possibility that Jesus is not just a man, not just one of these "no ones."
