John 5:24

Rough Word-by-word:
Truly truly I say to you that the the word of me hearing and believing to the one sending me he has life eternal, and into judgment not he comes but he has gone across from the death into the life.

Smooth Translation:
Truly, truly I say to you that the one who hears my word and believes the one who sent me, has eternal life, and he does not come into judgment but he has gone across from death to life.

Notes:
The emphasis on "the word" is interesting here grammatically being shown by word order choice.

John's use of the perfect is encouraging. To know that our crossing from death to life is already completed certainly adds a level of assurance to our present walk.
