John 7:50

λέγει Νικόδημος πρὸς αὐτούς, ὁ ἐλθὼν πρὸς αὐτὸν πρότερον, εἷς ὢν ἐξ αὐτῶν

Rough Word-by-word:
He says Nicodemus to them, the one who went to him before, one being from them

Smooth Translation:
Nicodemus, the one who went to him before, said to them, being from them

Note: 
There is a story in the prepositions and pronouns. Nicodemus was from them, he went to him (Jesus), and he now speaks to them.
