John 5:42

ἀλλὰ ἔγνωκα ὑμᾶς ὅτι οὐκ ἔχετε τὴν ἀγάπην τοῦ θεοῦ ἐν ἑαυτοῖς.

Rough Word-by-word:
but I have known you all that not you all have the love the of God in yourselves.

Smooth Translation:
but I have known you, that you do not have the love of God in yourselves.

Notes:
Jesus not only knows what we do, he knows us!

ἀλλὰ strong adversative conjunction "but"

ἔγνωκα verb perfect active indicative 1st singular from γινώσκω (I know) "I have known"

ὑμᾶς pronoun accusative 2nd plural "you all"

ὅτι conjunction "that, because"

οὐκ adverb of negation "not"

ἔχετε verb present active indicative 2nd plural from ἔχω (I have) "you all have"
