John 7:27

ἀλλὰ τοῦτον οἴδαμεν πόθεν ἐστίν· ὁ δὲ χριστὸς ὅταν ἔρχηται οὐδεὶς γινώσκει πόθεν ἐστίν.

Rough Word-by-word:But this man we know from where he is, and Christ when he comes no one he knows from where he is.

Smooth Translation:
But we know where this man is from, and when Christ comes no one knows where he is from.

ἀλλὰ strong adversative conjunction "but"

τοῦτον demonstrative pronoun accusative singular masculine "this man"
