John 7:25

Ἔλεγον οὖν τινὲς ἐκ τῶν Ἱεροσολυμειτῶν Οὐχ οὗτός ἐστιν ὃν ζητοῦσιν ἀποκτεῖναι;
Rough Word-by-word: 
They were saying therefore certain ones from the inhabitants of Jerusalem, "Not this man is whom they seek to kill?"

Smooth Translation:
Therefore certain ones from the inhabitants of Jerusalem were saying, "Is not this the man whom they seek to kill?"

Ἔλεγον verb imperfect active indicative 3rd plural from λέγω (I say) "they were saying"

οὖν post positive conjunction "therefore"

τινὲς indefinite pronoun nominative plural masculine "certain ones"

ἐκ genitive preposition "from, out of"
