John 4:40

ὡς οὖν ἦλθον πρὸς αὐτὸν οἱ Σαμαρῖται, ἠρώτων αὐτὸν μεῖναι παρ' αὐτοῖς· καὶ ἔμεινεν ἐκεῖ δύο ἡμέρας.

Rough Word-by-word:
as therefore they came toward him the Samaritans, they were asking him to remain with them, and he remained there two days.

Smooth Translation:
Therefore as the Samaritans came toward him, they asked him to remain with them, and he remained there two days.
