John 4:8

οἱ γὰρ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ ἀπεληλύθεισαν εἰς τὴν πόλιν, ἵνα τροφὰς ἀγοράσωσιν.

Rough Word-by-word:
the for disciples of him they had gone away into the city, that food they might buy.

Smooth Translation:
for his disciples had gone away into the city, that they might buy food.
