John 5:44

πῶς δύνασθε ὑμεῖς πιστεῦσαι, δόξαν παρὰ ἀλλήλων λαμβάνοντες, καὶ τὴν δόξαν τὴν παρὰ τοῦ μόνου θεοῦ οὐ ζητεῖτε;

Rough Word-by-word:
How you all are able you all to believe, glory from one another you all are receiving, and the glory the from the only God not you all are seek?

Smooth Translation:
How are you able to believe, receiving glory from one another, and glory from the only God you do not seek?

Notes:
The temporal predicate participle indicates that we can't seek God's glory while we are accepting praise from others.
