John 6:71

ἔλεγεν δὲ τὸν Ἰούδαν Σίμωνος Ἰσκαριώτου· οὗτος γὰρ ἔμελλεν αὐτὸν παραδιδόναι, εἷς ὢν ἐκ τῶν δώδεκα.

Rough Word-by-word:
he was saying and the Judas of Simon of Iscariot. This man for he was about him to betray, one he being out of the twelve.

Smooth Translation:
And he was saying Judas of Simon of Iscariot. For this man was about to betray him, one being out of the twelve.

ἔλεγεν verb imperfect active indicative 3rd singular from λέγω (I say) "he was saying"
